She overheard her husband pleading passionately with Dunya in the garden and jumped to the conclusion that it was all of Dunya’s making and dismissed her after spreading the news all about town.
Her husband presents proof of Dunya’s innocence by way of a letter that Dunya wrote to him. She then reverses her smear campaign against Dunya and goes around town reading out the letter to clear Dunya’s name and restore her honour.
