Description: A tall woman of about thirty-five – gawky, shy and unassuming, and a little simple-minded. She was a total slave to her sister, of whom she was terrified, and for whom she worked day and night, even putting up with being beaten by her.

She’s at the traders’ table on the street and is invited to come by at seven o’clock tomorrow evening in order to avail herself of a trading opportunity.

Lizaveta comes home and finds her sister dead on the floor. Raskolnikov is still on the premises and kills Lizaveta in a panic.
