I greatly enjoyed both The Zhivago Affair and Lara. Actually, Lara covers a lot of the same ground and references The Zhivago Affair in the bibliography, so you could probably just read Lara and be fine.
And now I'm thinking of the eighties video nasty 'Scanners'. I don't know if I ever saw it mind you. I firmly remember the box in the video rental shop, though. The early eighties, with the advent of video rentals, was a good time to be a teenager!

The names are quite odd aren't they? Agrippina and Liberius. Wasn't Agrippina Nero's mum? Yikes. Not sure what that says about Liberius!
I bow to your knowledge on Nero. All I know is that he was the one that fiddled while Rome burned, or something? Was that Nero?
